After receiving numerous requests from families, we are now providing specialized assessments tailored to the unique needs of children. Our assessments take place in sensory-appropriate environments designed specifically for neurodiverse children, ensuring comfort and support throughout the process. The cost of a child ADHD assessment is £490.
Remote ADHD Assessments for Children
We offer in person appointments from our clinics in Liverpool, Leeds and London. We also offer remote ADHD assessments throughout the rest of the UK. This service provides a convenient way for families to access expert care without the need for travel, allowing children to be assessed in the comfort of their homes.
Child ADHD Assessment Process
Each child ADHD assessment lasts between 90 and 120 minutes and includes input from parents or guardians. Our assessment is detailed and thorough, designed to meet the guidelines set out by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence).

This rate is intentionally set lower than the average cost of similar services in the UK, which can range from £800 to £1,500. Our ethical pricing reflects our commitment to supporting families in need of assessments without imposing financial strain. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity for a thorough evaluation to receive the necessary help, and by offering our services at a competitive price, we aim to alleviate barriers to access. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, comprehensive assessments that prioritise the well-being of children and their families.
We also strive to make ADHD titration for children as accessible as possible by offering our services at the same ethical rates as adults, with the initial prescriber review priced at £100 and follow-up appointments at £80, which include therapeutic support. Given that many private clinics charge significantly more, often exceeding £300 per appointment, our pricing reflects our core mission to provide affordable care. We understand that navigating ADHD management can be challenging for families, and our competitive rates aim to lessen the financial burden while ensuring that children receive the comprehensive treatment they need. By keeping our costs lower, we hope to facilitate better mental health outcomes for children and offer families the support they deserve.
Information Required for the ADHD Assessment
To ensure an accurate diagnosis, the following information is required before the assessment:
- Parental Mental Health Assessment: Following NICE guidelines (this is carried out during the child's assessment)
- Letters and Reports from Teachers/School: Including observations
- GP Summary
- Social Service Reports: If applicable
- Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire - Completed by both teacher and parent (we provide)
- Connors Questionnaire (we provide)
This comprehensive data allows us to conduct a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) review, ensuring a well-rounded and accurate ADHD diagnosis. Following the assessment, you will receive a full report and a directive letter for your child’s educational environment. This letter will provide a breakdown of specific support needs to ensure your child receives the appropriate accommodations in their school or learning environment.
Our assessments are carried out by our assistant psychologists, with the diagnosis being made by our Doctor through an MDT.
Parent Support Throughout the ADHD Assessment Process
We understand that navigating the ADHD assessment process can be emotionally challenging for parents. To support you, we offer a dedicated point of contact with our Parent Lead, who will guide and support you therapeutically throughout the entire process. Our goal is to help manage expectations and ease the journey for families. Additionally, we are developing parent support and therapeutic groups to provide continued care and resources for those navigating a child’s ADHD diagnosis.
Treatment and Shared Care Pathway
Following a diagnosis, we offer a pathway into shared care, ensuring your child receives the ongoing treatment they need. This service is charged separately, and we work in close collaboration with your child’s GP and educational team to ensure continuity of care.
